Hire a Laravel Developer in Kuwait

Hire a dedicated Laravel developer in Kuwait. Robust backend systems APIs and web platforms

  • Technology: Laravel
  • Backend

A Laravel developer builds the part of your business nobody sees: the system that holds the orders, the customer accounts, the invoices, the payments and the permissions that decide which employee can do what. Hire one by the hour when you have a process running on spreadsheets and WhatsApp, or a system somebody built years ago that nobody dares touch. The rate is 10 KWD per hour, starting with a free consultation hour.

The three jobs we get asked for most

Money. Taking payment properly, and knowing afterwards exactly what was paid. KNET first because that is what Kuwaiti customers use, cards for everyone else, and installment options where the basket justifies them. Laravel is a comfortable place for this because the awkward parts, refunds, partial refunds, retries and daily reconciliation, are ordinary work rather than plugin gymnastics. If payments are the whole job, read the KNET integration service and the MyFatoorah integration service, where a typical integration runs 10 to 27 hours.

An admin your staff will actually use. Arabic interface, roles that match real job titles, a history of who changed what, and screens designed around the way your team works rather than around the database. Most of the value in a custom system sits here, and it is the part cheap builds skip.

Connections. The website, the store, the accounting system and the warehouse each holding a different version of the truth is the most common complaint we hear. Laravel sits in the middle well, provided the other systems offer a way in, which we check before promising anything.

When to hire rather than commission

Hire by the hour when the shape of the system will change as you learn, when you want to release one useful piece at a time, or when you have your own developer who needs a stronger backend alongside them. Commission a full project through web development when the requirement is already written down and agreed.

If your existing site is plain PHP rather than Laravel, a PHP developer may be the cheaper hire, and rewriting a working system in Laravel for its own sake is not something we recommend.

What it costs

Hours times 10 KWD. A customer portal with payments, a common first build:

Work Hours Cost
Scope, data model and what version one leaves out 4 40 KWD
Customer accounts, orders and Arabic invoices 17 170 KWD
Gateway checkout, refunds and daily reconciliation 17 170 KWD
Staff admin with roles and an audit trail 13 130 KWD
Testing, deployment and handover 7 70 KWD
Total 58 580 KWD

Gateway fees are separate and paid to the provider. Public rates are around 0.250 KWD per KNET transaction through MyFatoorah or Tap, about 0.100 KWD with KNET direct, and roughly 2.5% plus 0.100 KWD on cards through MyFatoorah. Which route suits you is covered in the gateway comparison, and longer partnerships take 15%, 30% or 50% off the hourly rate on the pricing page.

How to start

Book the free hour and bring the spreadsheet. Whatever process you are running by hand, the file itself tells an engineer more than an hour of description. You will leave with the work split into pieces you can buy one at a time, in the order that returns the most for the fewest hours, and with an honest note about anything that would be better bought than built.

What we deliver

  • Custom business systems: portals, dashboards, booking and order platforms
  • KNET, MyFatoorah, Tap, Deema, Tabby and Taly checkout, including refunds
  • Arabic and English invoices with KWD at three decimal places
  • A staff admin with roles, permissions and an audit trail
  • Links between your website, your store and your accounting system
  • Takeover, upgrade and clean-up of an existing Laravel application
  • Deployment, backups and a handover document your team can use

Frequently asked questions

Should we build in Laravel or buy a ready-made system?

Buy if something off the shelf covers most of what you do. A shop is usually better on Shopify, accounting and stock are usually better in an existing ERP. Build in Laravel when the rules that make you money are unusual, for example rental periods, tiered contract pricing, or a parts catalogue tied to car models. We will tell you which side you are on in the free hour, including when the answer costs us the work.

We inherited a Laravel system and nobody maintains it. Can you take it over?

Yes, and the first few hours go into an audit rather than new features. What version it is on, whether it can be upgraded safely, where the data lives, who holds the accounts, and what breaks if it stops. You get a written verdict with hours attached, including the option of leaving it alone if it works.

Does Laravel handle Arabic invoices properly?

It does, but only if someone builds them properly. That means right-to-left invoice layouts that survive being exported as PDF, KWD printed to three decimal places, Arabic customer names that do not turn into question marks, and your commercial registration number where it belongs. This is normal work, not an extra.

Can it connect to our accounting or ERP system?

Usually, but it depends on the other system rather than on Laravel. Some allow an automatic connection, some offer only a file import or export, and some give nothing at all, in which case a scheduled export is the honest answer. We check what your system supports before promising a connection.

How long before we have something we can use?

We cut the work so that one useful part goes live early, for example customers being able to see and pay their invoices, before the rest of the system is finished. Paying by the hour only makes sense if you can stop at any point and still own something that works.
