Know exactly what to build before you spend a dinar. The first hour with us is free, it is with an engineer rather than a salesperson, and you leave it with a scope and a price range you can take anywhere. Every “free consultation” on this site means this hour. Nothing else is expected of you.
Why the first hour is free
Most technical projects in Kuwait go wrong before any code is written. Someone agrees to a fixed price for a scope nobody defined, or buys an app when a page would have done, or commissions a rebuild when the real problem was a payment step that fails on weekends. By the time it shows up, the money is spent.
An hour of conversation catches most of that. It costs us an hour and it saves you the wrong project, and a client who starts with the right scope is a better client than one who starts with a big budget. That is the entire commercial logic, and it is why there is nothing to sign.
What happens in the hour
You talk, we ask. Expect questions like: who is the customer and how do they reach you today, what happens now when an order arrives, how many people touch it, what breaks most often, what do you already pay for and what do you actually use, who will keep this running after it launches. The questions are duller than the idea, and they are where the cost is hiding.
Then we tell you what we think. Sometimes it is that the project is straightforward and here is roughly the size of it. Sometimes it is that you are describing two projects and only one of them is urgent. Sometimes it is that a ready made product does this for a monthly fee and you should buy that instead. We say the last one often enough that people are surprised by it.
The hour ends with a rough shape: what to build first, what to leave for later, an hours range and the matching cost at 10 KWD per hour, and the parts we are not yet sure about, named out loud.
What to bring
Nothing formal. A conversation with an owner who has thought about the problem beats a document every time. That said, the hour goes further if you can bring any of these:
- The address of your current site, app or system, and access if it has a login.
- A rough idea of budget. Not to be charged against it, but because it decides which version of the project is worth discussing.
- Your deadline, and what is driving it. A launch tied to a season is a different project from one with no date.
- Any quote you have already received.
- The name of the person inside your company who will own this after launch.
- One real example, start to finish: a single order, enquiry or case, as it actually happens today.
What this is not
It is not a sales meeting. Nobody will walk you through a slide deck or push a package.
It is not a free proposal. A real scope for anything substantial takes days of work, and we charge for that at the hourly rate. What the free hour gives you is a range wide enough to be honest.
It is not free ongoing advice. If you need someone to sit with your team, review architecture, judge vendors or write specifications over weeks, that is paid consulting.
And it is not a commitment. Plenty of these hours end with us telling someone their project does not need us.
How paid consulting works after that
If you want a written scope, we agree the hours first and bill at 10 KWD per hour, the published rate on our pricing page. A small project usually takes 3 to 8 hours to scope properly, so 30 to 80 KWD, and you get a document listing the screens, the rules, the connections, the hours per part and the total cost. It is yours whether we build it or not.
Larger pieces of paid consulting take the same form: a review of an existing system and what to fix first, an assessment of a vendor’s proposal, a build against buy decision with the numbers behind it, or a technical opinion for an investor. All of it at the same rate, with the hours agreed in advance.
If what you need is a developer working inside your team rather than a project, that is a different arrangement, and the hire hub explains it. If you are an agency or a consultancy looking for a technical partner behind your own client work, the partner page covers how that works.
What we can estimate
The free hour is useful across everything we do: a website or web platform, a mobile app, an online store, AI and automation, or a custom system for a process no product covers.
If you would rather see numbers before you speak to anyone, the cost calculator gives a range for the usual shapes of project, and the website cost guide for Kuwait explains what drives the figure up or down. Bring the result to the call and we will tell you where your project sits against it.
How to book
Message us on WhatsApp or use the contact page. Tell us in two lines what the business is and what you are trying to do. We will suggest a time, usually within the same week, Sunday to Thursday. The hour is free whether you are in Kuwait City or calling from abroad.
